Best Festival: Isle of Wight festival 2002 where Tim Burgess from the Charlatans bought me a pint!
Favourite cover version: Kanye West’s Gold Digger by “The Automatic” as performed on radio 1′s live lounge.
Eric – Bass
Previous bands: Enjoyed a brief spell in the Tyneside rock ‘n’ roll limelight as bassist for indy combo Ten Bob Nostril during the late ‘70s. Following the untimely demise of Ten Bob his musical energies were devoted to experimental collaboration with north-east based artists, singer song-writer Mick Kirkup and reclusive wooden-music purist and lute maker, Andy Atkinson. He then waited patiently for 20 years until the Freds were ready for him.
